Fire Investigation and Inspection Division

• Inspection of all public buildings and businesses
•  Providing information and education to business owners allowing them to provide a safer environment for their employees and patrons.
• Provides plan review for all new businesses in the Sugar Creek Township Fire Service Territory.
• Investigates Origin and Cause of fires.
• Chief Brandlein also oversees all vehicle maintenance as well building maintenance for the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department.

Chief Randy Brandlein a 19 year veteran of the Fire Service.  Chief Brandlein serves on the Hancock County Technical Review Committee representing the Hancock County Firefighters Mutual Aid Association.  He is a 10 year member of the Fire Inspectors Association of Indiana.  He also belongs to the International Association of Fire Investigators where he is a member of the Marion County Arson Task Force.
