Life Safety and Public Education

Currently the Sugar Creek Township Fire and Life Safety Education areas consist of:

  • Fire Station Tours along with Fire Safety Messages

  • Fire Prevention and Disaster Preparedness

  • Safety Trailer demonstrations

  • Fire Prevention, Preparedness and Escape

  • Severe Weather Preparedness and Shelter

  • W.A.R.N. –Water Awareness in Residential Neighborhoods

  • All Ways Fire Safe- Fire prevention for those 50 and over

  • Poison Prevention Awareness

  • Community Helpers

  • Bike Safety for Elementary Age students

  • Risk Watch for Fourth Graders

Risk watch is a nine week course of study on Fire and Injury prevention which is currently being taught to all fourth graders at New Palestine Elementary and Sugar Creek Elementary.
